To support the university’s content marketing strategy, the Office of University Communications provides an editorial calendar for the print and web communications Fast Facts, Gallaudet Today: The Magazine, and Gallaudet Today Newsletter.

Fast Facts

Purpose

An annual snapshot of accurate statistics and details, published online each February. Limited copies are also available in the Office of University Communications.

Audience

General public, news and media organizations, alumni, donors, community leaders, and other friends of the university.

Content

• A list of the President’s Cabinet and Board of Trustees
• Overview of Gallaudet University programs
• Alumni, employee, endowment, enrollment, funding, fundraising, and tuition statistics
• Information about Gallaudet’s impact on the community and its online, public service, research, and technology offerings and endeavors

To submit content for Fast Facts:

• Content must be submitted as a Word document (.doc or .docx).
• Email submissions to us as an attachment.

Gallaudet Today: The Magazine

Purpose

Published each spring and fall, Gallaudet Today: The Magazine is the primary source of university news and information for Gallaudet University Alumni Association (GUAA) members.

Audience

Alumni, donors, community leaders, and other friends of the university.

Content

• University Communications major news articles
• Big university events, such as Charter Day and Commencement
• Stories about:
  • Research and innovation
  • Student success
  • Community engagement

Submission Guidelines

To submit content for Gallaudet Today: The Magazine:

• Content must be submitted as a Word document (.doc or .docx).
• Photos must be high-resolution and suitable for print (large images preferred, at 300 dpi). Please submit photos separately from the Word document.
• Email submissions to us as an attachment.
