The Gallaudet University Deaf and Hard of Hearing Child Resilience Center (DHHCRC) is conducting live, in-person Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) training for mental health clinicians this summer. This training meets PCIT International’s Basic Training requirement for obtaining certification as a PCIT therapist and will be provided directly in American Sign Language.

The first training took place this week at Gallaudet University, and the second will be held July 24-28 at Texas School for the Deaf in Austin, Texas. Please see the flyer for more information. This training is being offered at no cost, but space is limited. Priority will be given to deaf clinicians and/or clinicians whose majority of cases are deaf or hard of hearing clients.

If you are interested in completing an application or have specific questions, please contact dhh.crc@gallaudet.edu.
