Amy: Hey there, everyone! It’s time for an exciting update from the Gallaudet University Library. Whether you’re a student, faculty member, staff, or part of our incredible alumni community, we’ve got some news to share. So, gather around, and let’s dive right in!
Noah: First things first, we want to address the recent changes. Some of you may have noticed that the library is no longer located at MLC since 2021. But fret not! We’re now settled at JSAC 1221 for the unforeseen future.
Ellie: That’s right, folks! We’re open and fully operational at JSAC 1221. Our hours remain the same as before, so you can count on us being there when you need us. For detailed information about our hours and services, just visit our website.
Elizabeth: You might notice that our new space is smaller, with fewer physical books on the shelves. But fear not, book lovers! We may have fewer books on display, but you can still get your hands on any book you desire.
Chelly: See? Getting your hands on your favorite books is still as easy as ever. We’ve got you covered!
Dianne: And that’s not all! We still provide the same fantastic services you’ve known and loved. From reference assistance to interlibrary loans, electronic books, video streaming, etc., we support your academic journey.
David: Need to get in touch with us or have any questions? It’s a piece of cake! You can contact us on the website.
Dianne: If you prefer real-time chats, visit our website and use the chat box. We’re available from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday.
Noah: And guess what? If you want to chat with us in ASL, we can schedule remote appointments via Zoom and VP. Just email us to arrange that. Our VP number is 202-779-9478. Leave a message, and we’ll get back to you promptly.
Ellie: Stay in the loop with everything library-related by following us on social media! You can find us on Facebook and Instagram under “GallaudetLibrary.” We’ve got exciting updates and engaging content waiting for you.
Amy: Remember, the Gallaudet University Library is here to serve the entire Gallaudet community—students, faculty, staff, and our outstanding alumni. Together, we’re proud to be a part of your academic journey. So, make sure to visit us at the library. We’re excited to continue supporting your educational endeavors. See you soon!
