Data Requests

The Office of Institutional Research can provide data on the following:

• Official Enrollment Information
• Graduation and Retention Rates
• Faculty Headcount
• Historical Data
• Course Information
• Degrees Conferred
• Other Statistical Data

Please visit the Reports and Surveys page prior to submitting a request. The most common data requests can be fulfilled through the Semester Snapshots or the Annual Report of Achievements.

If you cannot find the data you are looking for, you can use the Data Request Form. Due to availability of resources in our office, please allow a minimum of four weeks for requests to be completed. In many cases, someone in our office will contact you to discuss your request in detail.

Currently, we do not have staff to support requests related to course projects or independent studies. We also do not provide individually identifiable data due to privacy laws.

Data Dictionary

CENSUS DATES

Official formal reports are based upon standard census snapshot views. Census Dates are set to be consistent and comparable over time. At Gallaudet, the census is the fifteenth calendar day from the first of class in the fall and spring semesters. This Census dates file shows semester start dates, and census dates from 2005-2029.
