Antiracism, Inclusion and Multiculturalism

Gallaudet University is a unique place because the campus community is filled with people from all over the world, with unique life experiences, knowledge and ideas. Our students, staff, and faculty deserve to engage in a barrier-free, accessible and inclusive environment, and they deserve the opportunity to contribute to our campus in a meaningful way.

Antiracism, Inclusion and Multiculturalism (AIM) is a unit within the division of Belonging & Engagement.  This unit does the critical work of engaging with people all over the campus and building collaborative relationships with the goal of creating an inclusive campus and society; in short, to enhance engagement opportunities and thus, increase belonging. 

AIM consists of two programs: Communications and Community Engagement and Community Alliances . These two programs often work together, particularly with developing training programs and community events that are tailored to enhance belonging on campus.
