The Technology Access Program (TAP) conducts research into communication technologies and services for the benefit of the deaf and hard of hearing community. The program provides education to Gallaudet students through coursework and mentored research projects related to TAP’s research goals.
In the past, TAP has produced research leading to enhancements in video relay services, closed captioning, and emergency communications.
