Why Gallaudet University

Why Gallaudet

Connect. Discover. Influence.

That’s our motto, and it’s a big part of how Gallaudet University has become the world leader in liberal education and career development for deaf and hard of hearing students.

A group of four individuals poses together in a modern indoor setting. They are seated on a dark gray armchair, with two individuals in the back and two in the front. The person on the left in the back has curly hair and is wearing a blazer, while the person on the right in the back is wearing a black sweater. The individual in the front center is wearing a denim shirt and has long, straight hair. To her right, another person is wearing a patterned scarf and a plaid shirt. The background features soft lighting and a blurred indoor space.

There are countless reasons to select Gallaudet University as a student or education professional. To help you make an informed decision, we’ve put together a few things that set us apart from the rest.
