What can I expect when I enroll?

After you enroll, your first few weeks on campus will focus on getting you settled into life on campus.

Here are a few things you can expect:

  1. Move into your new dorm and meet your roommate(if applicable)
  2. Take your Bison ID photo.
  3. Get your parking pass. (if applicable).
  4. Check-in for Jumpstart program or/and Undergraduate Student Orientation.
  5. Meet your Peer Leaders (PLs).
  6. Attend the annual Welcome Home Event to meet peers, faculty, and staff as well as a special message from President Cordano.
  7. Meet your Academic Advisors and Student Success Coaches.
  8. Attend a Student Engagement Leadership (SEL) Fair to learn more about clubs and organizations to get plugged in!

Gallaudet and Apple collaborated to launch Guides for iOS 14 to provide users a curated list of interesting places to visit, find popular attractions, discover restaurants, and explore new recommendations.

Free Shuttle Bus Service

We have a free shuttle bus service that students, faculty, teachers, and staff can use to get to and from Union Station and the NoMA-Gallaudet University metro stop.
