Congratulations! Here’s what’s next at Gallaudet University.
After you enroll, your first few weeks on campus will focus on getting you settled into life on campus.
Here are a few things you can expect:
Get ready for New Student Orientation (NSO) and your arrival onto campus for your first semester by completing these steps. Take note—more than a few of them are required.
You can find instructions for most, if not all, of the steps below in your Admissions Portal.
Inside the Admissions Portal, you will also find information about requesting academic accommodations if you are a student with documented disabilities other than deafness.
Get in touch with your admissions counselor and the International Student and Scholar Services Office to ensure they have all needed paperwork and visa requirements prepared.
Get ready for Graduate School and your arrival onto campus for your first semester by completing these steps. Take note—more than a few of them are required. You can find instructions for most, if not all, of the steps below in your Admissions Portal.
Gallaudet and Apple collaborated to launch Guides for iOS 14 to provide users a curated list of interesting places to visit, find popular attractions, discover restaurants, and explore new recommendations.
The guides are a great place to get started as you begin student life in Washington, D.C.
We have a free shuttle bus service that students, faculty, teachers, and staff can use to get to and from Union Station and the NoMA-Gallaudet University metro stop.
Gallaudet University, chartered in 1864, is a private university for deaf and hard of hearing students.
