The minor in accounting consists of a minimum of 15 credit hours of accounting courses.
Students are required to complete an internship to graduate from one of our business programs. Internships provide students the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills in a real-world business environment. Business faculty advisors and the Business Internship Coordinator, Georgette Lopes, will assist students in finding, attaining, and completing a meaningful work assignments during their time at Gallaudet. Depending on the rigor and focus of the internship, students may earn up to 12 credit hours from their work experience.
Graduates of the B.S. in Accounting Program will demonstrate competence and learning according to Gallaudet's seven domains of learning and leadership, including a knowledge of the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
