Athletics roundup 

Two weeks ago, our women’s basketball team thought their 17-9 season was over. Then they were invited to play in the Final Four of the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) tournament last weekend. They lost in the semifinal round, so their season is over for real, but they still had a spectacular year and have much to be proud of.

We are also proud of indoor track and field athletes Liam Painter, who set a new school pole vault record, and Hannah Wetzel, who broke her own school record in the high jump. Wetzel and sprinter Eric Gregory both qualified for the NCAA championship this weekend. Congratulations to all!
