How to Access Your Student Billing Information

As part of our commitment to providing a great student experience, we will transition from GallyPay (Nelnet) to Transact for all billing and payment services. Transact offers a robust platform with features designed to simplify the billing and payment process, providing greater accessibility and convenience. Important dates and information you need to know about this transition:

  • June 24, 2024 – Final Summer 2024 eBill will be generated in GallyPay (Nelnet)

  • July 1, 2024 – Transact is live and will be accessible through Workday. Please note that even though Transact is live you may not be able to see all Fall 2024 charges to your student account.
  • July 8, 2024 – eBill will be generated in Transact and payments can be made. eBills will continue to be generated bi-weekly. Please note that you will receive an automated email when your eBill has been posted to your account within Transact

Any unpaid balances from Summer 2024 and prior will be converted from GallyPay (Nelnet) to Transact to actively reflect your current charges and/or outstanding balances.

We understand that changes like this may raise questions, and we are committed to ensuring a smooth transition for all students. We have a dedicated team to provide you with support and assistance during this time.

If you have any inquiries or require further information about the transaction to Transact, please feel free to contact us or stop by our office:

Services being offered through GallyPay are as follows:

  • E-billing – Student Financial Services (SFS) does not mail student bills. Students are notified via Gallaudet email accounts when a new bill is ready for viewing/printing and payment.
  • Third-party account access – Students have the option to grant secure third-party access to the student’s account for e-billing, viewing, printing, and/or making payments. The third party can be a parent, relative, guardian, sponsor, or other person. The authorized third party will also receive an email when a new bill is ready for viewing/printing and payment.
  • E-payments – SFS offers a service which allows secure e-payments from a checking or savings account at no charge.
  • Credit card payments – Gallaudet does not accept credit card payments for student accounts via the telephone. Payments must go through GallyPay. Gallaudet accepts American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover credit cards.

If you have any questions or need any assistance, please contact Student Financial Services.
