In consideration of enrollment for each semester/summer session, I agree to pay all tuition, fees, and other charges by the payment deadline set forth by Gallaudet University. This constitutes a legal financial obligation. Failure to receive anticipated funding does not relieve me of any financial obligations.

I understand that my failure to fully pay the amount owed to Gallaudet University will result in the denial of all future registrations, late payment charges, and withholding my grades, transcripts, and degree.

A partial or complete refund of the amounts described in this Agreement shall only be available, if at all, under the terms described by Gallaudet University’s Refund Policy. That Gallaudet University may have previously offered a refund of some amounts, whether as an accommodation or otherwise, does not alter or modify the circumstances under which a student is eligible for a partial or complete refund of the tuition, fees, and other charges described in this Agreement.

Notice of Collection: I understand that Gallaudet University will use the services of collection agencies and/or attorneys to collect past-due amounts owed to the University. I also understand that in the event my account is submitted to a collection agency or attorney, the collection fees will be up to 33%, and attorney fees will be assessed to my account as an additional charge. I understand that I reserve the right to reverse this permission by giving written notice to the Office of Student Financial Services.

I understand that Gallaudet University releases schedules that provide information on the tuition fees and other charges specified in this agreement. I am responsible for informing the Registrar and the Office of Student Financial Services if I choose not to attend the University for the semester/summer session after completing all onboarding tasks. If I fail to inform them promptly, I will become liable for the complete charges of the semester/summer session.

I understand that I am responsible for keeping track of and paying all outstanding charges before leaving the University. I can review any unpaid charges on my Transact Student Account Profile or by contacting the Office of Student Financial Services.

Gallaudet University reserves the right to modify, rescind, or implement any policies, procedures, or practices—including, but not limited to, those related to housing, campus facilities or resources, courses, or the methods or modes of instruction—as circumstances may reasonably require and without prior notice to persons who might thereby be affected.

This Agreement, along with the policies and procedures referenced herein, supersedes all prior understandings, representations, negotiations, and correspondence between the student and Gallaudet University, constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the matters described herein, and shall not be modified or affected by any course of dealing or course of performance.
