In consideration of enrollment for each semester/summer session, I agree to pay all tuition, fees, and other charges by the payment deadline established by Gallaudet University. This agreement constitutes a legal financial obligation. Failure to receive anticipated funding does not relieve me of any financial responsibility.
I understand that failure to fully pay the amount owed to Gallaudet University may result in the denial of future registrations, late payment charges, and the withholding of grades, transcripts, and degrees.
A partial or full refund of the amounts described in this agreement will only be available, if at all, under the terms outlined in Gallaudet University’s Refund Policy. Any prior refunds granted by the University, whether as an accommodation or otherwise, do not modify or affect the conditions under which a student may be eligible for a refund of tuition, fees, or other charges.
Notice of Collection: I understand that Gallaudet University may use collection agencies and/or attorneys to collect past-due amounts owed to the University. If my account is referred to a collection agency or attorney, collection fees of up to 33% may be added to my account, along with any applicable attorney fees. I understand that I may revoke this authorization by providing written notice to the Office of Student Financial Services.
I understand that Gallaudet University publishes schedules outlining tuition, fees, and other charges referenced in this agreement. I am responsible for notifying both the Registrar and the Office of Student Financial Services if I choose not to attend the University for a semester or summer session after completing onboarding requirements. Failure to provide timely notification will result in liability for all charges for that semester or session.
I acknowledge that I am responsible for monitoring and paying all outstanding charges prior to leaving the University. I may review unpaid charges through my Transact student account profile or by contacting the Office of Student Financial Services.
Gallaudet University reserves the right to modify, rescind, or implement any policies, procedures, or practices—including, but not limited to, those related to housing, campus facilities or resources, courses, and the methods or modes of instruction—as circumstances reasonably require and without prior notice.
This agreement, along with the policies and procedures referenced herein, supersedes all prior understandings, representations, negotiations, and correspondence between the student and Gallaudet University. It constitutes the entire agreement between the parties regarding the matters described and shall not be modified by any course of dealing or performance.
