Students in search of on-campus employment are referred to as Bison Career Link (BCL). To start your job search, log-in to your BCL account by using your Gallaudet email and password. Once you are logged-on, click the “Jobs” tab located at the top of the page. Next, click “Gallaudet On-Campus Part-Time” to search for on-campus employment.
Individual departments are encouraged to post available on-campus jobs for students on Bison CareerLink (BCL) to give students a “One-Stop” location to look for part-time employment.
To post part-time, on-campus jobs for current Gallaudet students, go to the Bison CareerLink and click on the Contact.
Student employment guidelines including recommended wage scales are available to departments and students through links listed below:
Students looking for off-campus internships and jobs should click on the “CSMJobs” link under the “Jobs” tab in BCL. When this page opens, you will be given the option to select the kind of internship or job you are looking for and the area where you would like to work. Once you find an internship or job that you are interested in, follow the application process listed in the job announcement.
All job postings received by the Career Center for either on or off-campus employment should be posted on the Bison CareerLink (BCL).
The Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP) is a federal program that is managed by the US Department of Labor. The program’s objective is to connect government agencies and private companies with college students and recent graduates with disabilities for internship and part-time/full-time job opportunities.
The recruitment cycle, which includes online registration, online application, and a VP or telephone interview, begins each year in late August. Please check the Bison CareerLink in early fall for updates regarding the program. Information will also be posted on Gallaudet’s Daily Digest. Students and recent graduates can learn more about the program by visiting www.wrp.gov
