Articulations encompass the ability to express and elaborate upon one’s skills, experiences, and achievements. Freshmen engage with the Academic and Career Success team to align their interests with their chosen majors and gain confidence through general education courses and career-related events. As students progress, they seize experiential learning opportunities, refine their articulation skills, and align their aspirations with real-world applications. Faculty and staff play a crucial role in this process with their bilingual expertise. The university takes a comprehensive approach to empower students in articulating their career aspirations. Multiple workshops cover various topics such as resume tailoring, LinkedIn and other social media optimization, and communication etiquette, ensuring students can effectively present themselves in the workplace. Gallaudet University’s focus on articulation reflects their commitment to empowering students to express their unique identities and contributions. It’s an essential step in their journey towards career success
