Office for Career Success launches new job search platform 

The Gallaudet University Office for Career Success (OCS) is launching a new, easy-to-use career portal called Handshake. This portal will be available to students, alumni, faculty and staff, and employers. 

In Handshake, you will be able to create your own profile and connect with employers that OCS has personally reviewed and approved. Our employers started using this last fall, and many internship and job opportunities are already waiting for you! Handshake also includes a list of events to register for in order to meet some of our employers. 

Students will receive an email from Handshake sent to their Gallaudet email. You can also visit GU.live/Handshake. 

Alumni: If you are an alumnus of Gallaudet University, you can sign up with your personal email address at GU.live/Handshake. It will take a couple of days for OCS to verify your alumni information and approve your account. 

Faculty and staff: If you would like to access Handshake, please email career.success@gallaudet.edu. 

Employers: If you would like to engage with Gallaudet students and alumni to share internship or job opportunities, you can register for free with Handshake at GU.live/Handshake. Be sure to connect with Gallaudet University on the Handshake platform.
