After Hours Care

If you have an on-campus emergency, call or text Gallaudet DPS at 202- 651-5555 for immediate assistance. Call or text 911 for emergencies occurring off-campus. DPS is the first responder to campus emergencies and will provide first aid and guide DC emergency responders directly to your campus location. If you have a non-emergency medical situation and want to receive care before SHS reopens, consider going to an urgent care clinic instead of the emergency room. The cost is typically less expensive.
