General Health Services

SHS’s clinical staff consists of a board-certified physician, nurse practitioners, and registered nurses. Students are seen by appointments and on a walk-in basis. There are no additional costs to full-time students for services rendered by SHS. Charges may be incurred when services are provided by a medical laboratory or pharmacy in the delivery of care. Students may be referred to other providers for evaluation or treatment that is beyond SHS’s scope of practice. Services offered in SHS include but are not limited to evaluation/treatment for:

• Illness & injury
• Acute and chronic conditions
• Allergy injections (must provide allergy serum & allergy schedule)
• Women’s Health/Pap Smear Gyn exams
• Contraception and Family Planning
• STI testing
• Physical exams
• Lab work
• PrEP 
• Patient education
• Pregnancy tests
• HIV tests
• TB tests
• Gender affirming care
