Description: The mission of PAZAPA is to support the treatment, education, and development of children with handicaps, and to integrate them into the community at large. Pazapa is dedicated to promoting the welfare of mentally and physically handicapped children and their families in and around the city of Jacmel.

Description: Institut Montfort is run by the Daughters of Wisdom. They serve over 600 deaf and deaf-blind children in three locations in Haiti; the largest center is in Port-au-Prince. Their website indicates that the staff and students are living in the schoolyard.

Description: St. Vincent’s is run by the Episcopal Bishop of Haiti. It is a residential and day program for 350 students. They serve deaf, blind, and physically handicapped students.
