Description: The Danish Association of the Hard of Hearing has local branches in all the Danish municipalities. The aim of the association is to improve the conditions for children, young people and adults who are deaf and hard of hearing. Through guidance, networking and information the Danish Association of the Hard of Hearing spreads knowledge on ear diseases, sound and hearing disorders and hearing aids.

Description: The only folk high school (adult education program) for deaf and hard of hearing students in Denmark, job center, and home to the international Frontrunners leadership training course (http://www.frontrunners.dk). Sign language is the primary mode of communication.
