The University's Guide and Support

The Office of Curriculum, Outreach, Resources, and Effectiveness (CORE) plays a key role in supporting Gallaudet University’s mission through strategic planning, assessment, and continuous improvement. We provide leadership and guidance across campus in the areas of accreditation, certification, licensure compliance, and research support. CORE also ensures the university community has access to reliable data on enrollment, employment, and financial trends. These insights help inform institutional decisions and long-term strategic planning.

CORE is made up of several specialized units:

  • Bilingual Evaluation, Testing, and Assessment Center (BETA Center)

  • Gallaudet Opportunities for Advancement and Learning (GOAL)

  • Charge Ahead Dual Enrollment (CADE)

  • Institutional Effectiveness and Certification (IE&C)

Together, these units work to ensure academic quality, student success, and institutional accountability.
