The Belonging & Equity in Action Summit will bring together chief diversity officers, academic researchers, and experts from diverse fields to share insights on the importance of belonging, how to measure it, and ways to create inclusive environments.

Our goal is to use the learning and context from our community’s experience at Gallaudet, particularly with inclusive excellence and intersectionality in a multicultural visual and sign language-based community, to ignite a deep dialogue where we will collectively explore strategies to create tools for measuring belonging and resources for organizations and communities to use to enhance and strengthen the workplace experience for everyone.

Each participant is asked to commit to participating, as individuals or corporations, for a minimum of three years to ensure that we can create a thorough and durable understanding of belonging and foster a sense of community among us to strengthen the output of our work and deliver tools to strengthen the workplace experience for all employees.
