Refer Questions to: Executive Director, Gallaudet Technology Services
Batch jobs are processes that are scheduled to run on a regular basis without manual intervention. In most cases, batch jobs typically run outside of normal business hours.
Gallaudet Technology Services staff and consultants may modify (add, create, modify, or delete) batch jobs. No individuals outside of GTS may have access to the batch job system within Workday/PeopleSoft.
Modifications (add, create, modify, or delete) to batch jobs must be approved by both the Workday/PeopleSoft manager and the owner of the data (e.g. Financials Manager).
Departments who have batch job requests are responsible for monitoring the results of the batch jobs. If issues or problems surface with the automated routines should notify GTS as soon as possible so the issues can be investigated and resolved.
Requests to change batch jobs should be documented in the IT Service Desk system with the technical details stored either in the IT Service Desk, or through internal change management procedures.
