Student Aubrey Moorman selected as Mid-Atlantic...
The Campus Compact Mid-Atlantic has selected Aubrey Moorman, a junior government major from Laurel, Maryland, as an inaugural Mid-Atlantic Civic Fellow for the 2022-2023 academic year. Aubrey will participate in the upcoming fellowship year alongside a select group of students representing CCMA member institutions in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Delaware. President Cordano nominated Aubrey for this fellowship. He is one of 13 students selected as a Civic Fellow.
The Mid-Atlantic Civic Fellowship will provide student leaders from across the region with opportunities to develop their skills and capacity to create positive social change in their communities. Campus Compact Mid-Atlantic will provide a variety of learning and networking opportunities emphasizing personal, professional, and civic growth. Fellows will participate in virtual and in-person gatherings and conversations with regional and national experts focused on leadership development and advancing equity through civic and community engagement in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Aubrey is the current president of the Student Body Government, and a member of the debate team (see related article).
Congratulations, Aubrey!
