Robin Goffen graduated with a B.S. in Communication Science and Disorders from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 1984. She completed her M.A.T. at Indiana University in 1985. Following her Clinical Fellowship at Woodrow Wilson Rehabilitation Center in Fishersville, VA, she worked in the Charlottesville Public Schools. In 1990 she joined the staff of the Department of Hearing, Speech, and Language Sciences as a Clinical Educator. In 2001 she added the responsibilities of Internship Coordinator and in 2014 she became the Clinic Coordinator for the Speech Language Pathology team. Her areas of interest vary from working with adult clients with neurogenic communication disorders to pediatric clients with articulation and language delays. Her favorite aspect of her job is the supervision of speech language pathology graduate students.
