Dear Newly Accepted International Students:
Congratulations on your acceptance to Gallaudet University! You are now part of a rich and diverse student body of 200 international students representing 54 countries.
You are beginning an exciting phase of your life, and Gallaudet is pleased that you have chosen us to further your education. Gallaudet also realizes that attending a university in the United States may be a new and very different experience for many of our international students.
In order to help ease the transition, Gallaudet’s International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) is here to help you by providing information and services that will help you succeed academically, and to foster understanding about life on campus and the United States in general. Additionally, ISSS offers assistance regarding visas and other related immigration issues.
