Elly Romero, Ph.D. (they/them) is a licensed clinical psychologist and the TF-CBT Intervention Track Co-Director at the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Child Resilience Center at Gallaudet University. They are responsible for developing and disseminating Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) materials for deaf and hard of hearing (DHH) clients to agencies that serve deaf clients. In addition, they work at Cory Cove Wellness, LLC, located in Worcester, MA. Dr. Romero provides therapeutic services and psychological assessments in American Sign Language, English and Spanish. Their areas of interest include trauma/PTSD, LGBTQIA*, multiculturalism and immigration.
