REU AICT Program Requirements

Requirements to get into the Program

• Be enrolled in computer science, information technology, psychology, linguistics, communications, or related accessible technology field.

• Be a US citizen or permanent resident.

• be an undergraduate student in good standing.

Applicants will be notified of their status by April.

Accepted students

• live in campus housing.

• attend weekly seminars and programs.

• work a minimum of 40 hours per week at the REU site.

• submit a written research report paper.

• present a summary of research work and findings.

• submit a report describing their project and their experience.

• complete an exit survey.

• assist in further recruitments at their respective school.

Remember, once you have accepted an offer from the program, you are obligated to complete the summer internship (all 10 weeks) program and meet the program requirements.
