Gallaudet University is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) and recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a Title IV approved institution. The Psy.S. in School Psychology is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) As a new program, we are in the process of applying for National Association of School Psychology (NASP) accreditation.
In compliance with the U.S. Department of Education and the District of Columbia Higher Education Licensure Commission (HELC) requirements for participation in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement NC-SARA, the University provides information pertaining to this program and school psychologist licensure within each of the If you intend to secure licensure outside of Washington, D.C., review the professional licensure requirements for the state or territory of interest from the list below. This will help you determine whether Gallaudet has obtained confirmation from the state or territory that the Psy.S. in School Psychology program meets or does not meet the educational requirements for licensure in U.S. states and territories.
This program is designed to meet the educational requirements of school psychologist certification in the District of Columbia as a school service provider.

Successful completion of the Psy.S. School Psychology program at Gallaudet University meets the requirements for certification in school psychology by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).
