About

I earned my M.S. In Audiology in 2014, after which I switched to a full time Ph.D. program track. This track has focused on investigating how sex and sexual orientation influence the brain when processing speech. I finished my Ph.D in January 2019. at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, in Knoxville Tn. Here at Gallaudet, I am extending this research in to manual communication and the brain, while also beginning a line on how tinnitus alters cortical activity.
