Name: Olusegun Aluko

Country: Nigeria

Field of Study: Public Administration

My name is Olusegun, but my friends call me Segun. I am from Ekiti State in Nigeria. I came to America to attend Gallaudet University. Gallaudet University is a home for deaf education where American Sign language is being used in the classroom. I am currently a Master of Public Administration student. I plan to work with deaf people in the management field and inspire them to expose their talents and use them to promote success for other deaf people. Because with God, all things are possible. I want to use this opportunity to thank the Nippon Foundation for the Sasakawa International Scholarship (SIS). With the Scholarship, I am able to focus on my studies and achieve excellent grades. Their financial generosity has inspired me to have the desire to continue helping others and give back to the community. When the time comes, by God’s grace, I will help other students achieve their educational goals. Once again, thanks to the Nippon Foundation.
