Overview

As advocates for human rights and the interests of people with disabilities throughout the world, the Nippon Foundation has partnered with Gallaudet to provide international students with two scholarship opportunities. These scholarships, the Gallaudet-Nippon World Deaf Leadership Scholarship (WDL) and the Sasakawa International Scholarship (SIS) give international students financial stability as they strive to reach their full potential in our programs, and in their future.

The purpose of The Nippon Foundation is to enable social innovation. By supporting individuals, businesses, universities, governments, and international bodies, we form networks to bring about positive social change in developing countries.
