My name is Emmanuel Abonyi, and I am from Nigeria in West Africa. My goal at Gallaudet is to obtain my Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, with a minor in mathematics. After I graduate, I plan to return to Nigeria and teach accounting and mathematics to deaf students. I also have a dream of establishing a business in stock investing.

I want say thank you a million times to the Nippon Foundation for my Sasakawa Scholarship. Without support for my education, it would have been very difficult for me to get a university education.
