Statute of Limitations for Completion of Program Requirements

Departments should establish and publish a statute of limitations for completion of program requirements for students matriculating in their respective program. Approved 11/6/07

Limited number of course retakes

Students who receive an unsatisfactory grade (e.g., C, F, or WF), in a course satisfying a program requirement, may repeat the same course, with permission of the department, only one time. Approved 11/6/07

Changes to the “Dissertation/Thesis Handbook”

Authority for the content and changes to the content of the Dissertation/Thesis Handbook rests jointly with the Council on Graduate Education and the Office of the GSPP Dean. Approved 11/6/07
