Curriculum, Outreach, Resources, and Effectiveness (CORE)

Curriculum, Outreach, Resources, and Effectiveness (CORE) at Gallaudet University oversees the university’s accreditation, certification, and compliance concerning licensure and research initiatives. We also provide accurate data on enrollment, employment, and financial information to the campus community through various enrollment and strategic planning reports.

MSCHE Self-Study Timeline, 2020-2023

Since 1957, Gallaudet University has been a proud part of MSCHE. We work closely with the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), and our work with them is a way to make sure that Gallaudet University is accredited.

Every eight years, we engage in MSCHE Self-Study and are reviewed by peer evaluators during a culminating site visit. This two-year accreditation process involves dozens of staff, faculty, and students; motivated by the fundamental desire to ensure that best practices in higher education drive our Gallaudet experience.

Annual Report of Achievements

The Annual Report of Achievements (ARA) is a comprehensive report of the university and Clerc Center’s programs and services. It is required by the Education of the Deaf Act, and is shared with the United States Department of Education and with the United States Congress. The Fiscal Year 2022 report was released in January 2023, and work has begun on the Fiscal Year 2023 report.
