Overview

The Chemistry & Physics Program offers a variety of undergraduate research projects during the academic year and paid summer internships in the following fields:

  • environmental chemistry
  • nanotechnology
  • organic synthesis
  • pharmacognosy

Undergraduate students have the opportunity to apply their knowledge hands-on with instrumentation such as:

  • high-pressure liquid chromatography
  • gas chromatography/mass spectrometry
  • atomic absorption spectroscopy
  • nuclear magnetic resonance
  • ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy instruments
