Academics

In 2011 and 2012, a single national competition was held at Gallaudet. Teams competed in a Regionals-style format then 32 teams advanced to the “National” competition. Sixteen teams then advanced to the Playoffs bracket. 2012 saw what was possibly the most exciting National Championship match ever as an undefeated (and 18-0) Maryland SD defeated another undefeated (and 18-0) MSSD in front of over 2,000 fans in a packed Field House at Gallaudet.
