Todd Byrd

As Senior International Writer for the Office of International Affairs (OIA), Mr. Byrd serves as lead writer and editor for the University’s activities in support of international affairs. He supervises staff and students who are involved in OIA’s writing for websites and print publications for campus or external readership to help ensure that the written output of the unit and its program specialists is timely, clear, and effective. He provides editing assistance to potential collaborators through written correspondence; and ensures the clarity of the University’s instructions on critical issues in international affairs, such as visa regulations, compliance with export-import controls, and visitor monitoring regulations.
