Submitted invited input on USAID Draft Disability-Inclusive Development Policy [in conjunction with Gallaudet President’s Office and GU colleagues]

SID-US Strategic Planning Session. Provided input to SID-US board members on the organization’s strategic planning.

Provided invited input and meeting consultation - FEMA’s Office of Response and Recovery, “Disability Guidance for Assisting a Person who is Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and DeafBlind.”

Consultation with US Foreign Service Institute on their initiative to improve deaf inclusion in the US Foreign Service. Engaged email correspondence, coordinated and participated in Gallaudet-FSI meeting with interdisciplinary faculty, and presented with Maegan Shanks for the DOS-FSI Deaf Incusion Working Group. Outcome: FSI changed language policy to standard format for all candidates, changing asssessment protocol to reading and writing content in target language (rather than spoken language assessment).
