Gallaudet at 150 and Beyond Exhibition

Hello. I’m so excited to share with you our new plans for the future of the Gallaudet Museum. Thus far, your support has been wonderful, and we are very close to the opening of our exhibition on April 8, 2014. But this does not mean the Museum’s work is over. We will continue to grow and expand, becoming a full-service and professional museum thanks to your support. Our vision and plans for the exhibition will incorporate four things such as exhibitions of various artifacts and also live programs such as workshops, lectures, and performances, which will give you fascinating new perspectives. We will also offer a video app that will allow you to connect directly with our exhibits through the latest technology. And most importantly, we will have rotating exhibits that will change periodically.

This means that every time you visit the museum, there will be a new exhibit. Every time you come, you will see a new aspect of Deaf life, Deaf culture, and the Gallaudet experience. Your support has been truly amazing, and we look forward to seeing you on your first visit to the new Gallaudet University Museum!
