Gallaudet Conversations Across Nations, otherwise known as CAN, will continue this spring semester. The next on-campus CAN is on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in the I. King Jordan Student Academic Center Multipurpose Room. It is open to all.
The topic will be shared near the date of the event.
In addition, 42 schools around the world will host their own CAN events during that week, April 24-28.CAN is about having civil, thought-provoking, face-to-face conversations. It is a simple way to gather people with open minds to have meaningful conversations about topics we care about in our community. These discussions allow us to brainstorm and find common ground and understand our future possibilities.
The first-ever CAN event was held on October 1, 2016, following the installation of President Roberta J. Cordano, on campus and at Gallaudet University Alumni Association (GUAA) chapters all around the nation and the world.
