Public Meeting For Reaccreditation
Visitors will be on campus March 29 and 30 in connection with the Department of Hearing, Speech, and Language Sciences’ application for reaccreditation of its Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology programs.
As part of this site visit, the public is invited to provide comments about two graduate programs: the Clinical Doctoral Degree in Audiology (Au.D.) and the M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology. Comments will be received on Thursday, March 29, from 4:45 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. in the Merrill Learning Center, Basement Room 112. Interpreters will be available for those who use American Sign Language.
Overseeing the reaccreditation application is the Council of Academic Accreditation for Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) of the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA). A copy of the Standards for Accreditation and/or the CAA’s Policy on Public Comment may be obtained by contacting the Accreditation Office at ASHA, 2200 Research Boulevard, #310, Rockville, MD 20850, or by calling ASHA’s Action Center at 1-800-498-2071.
