Au.D., Doctor of Audiology Requirements

Requirements

• Completed CSDCAS application form. Go to CSDCAS Application to start and complete your application. The deadline for audiology program applications is February 1. This means all materials must be received within CSDCAS and available to the admissions committee by February 1. International students must complete their application by November 1.
• CSDCAS Fee
• A minimum 3.0 grade point average (on a four-point scale) in all previous undergraduate and graduate study (Occasionally, applicants with a GPA lower than 3.0 may be admitted conditionally upon the recommendation of the department.)
• Official transcripts of all undergraduate study, including evidence of having received a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (Those applying during their final undergraduate year will be required to submit a final transcript after completion of their bachelor’s degree and before enrolling in their first semester of graduate study.) 
• Official transcripts of all graduate study
• Personal statement
• Three letters of recommendation
• TOEFL is required from all international applicants from non-English speaking countries. (Use 5240 for the ETS institutional code)

Additional Program Requirements

• Transcript showing the Fall 2024 grades, if enrolled in a college/university.
• An admissions interview is required for admission. It is designed to be an opportunity for applicants to visit and learn about our program. The day will include activities such as Q&A sessions with current students, faculty, and staff, in addition to interviews and various assessments. Promising individuals will be invited to interview in February each year. (Exceptions: international students and those who qualify for early decision will be interviewed in mid-November.) Applicants should have a computer with a webcam, stable internet connection, and relatively quiet and non-distracting environment for the interview day. There may be a cost to a proctored portions of the interview day, which will not exceed $15.
