Board of Trustees Response Response for Kappa Gamma International

Dear Kappa Gamma International – thank you for your letter. I want to confirm that it has been shared with the Board of Trustees.

As previously indicated, the Board is giving priority attention to the issues raised by members of our community and remains strongly committed to achieving substantive resolutions that support and exemplify Gallaudet University’s values of equity, diversity, and inclusive excellence and commitment to restorative justice.

The Board recently announced updates and will post its antiracism action plan on the university’s Belonging and Equity site.

The Board remains dedicated to working with Gallaudet University leaders and community stakeholders to create meaningful change in this regard, and it will continue to focus its work on achieving these important goals.
