Dr. Lorna Quandt (center standing) performing an EEG demo experiment with Gallaudet University PhD in Educational Neuroscience students. Our PhD in Educational Neuroscience (PEN) program is inviting prospective students to apply for enrollment starting in Fall 2022. Students who are admitted receive four years of full funding (domestic-rate tuition scholarships + $25,200 annual stipend + health insurance option). Students in our pioneering, bilingual ASL-English program gain state-of-the-art cognitive neuroscience training in how humans learn, with a focus on the neuroplasticity of visual learning processes. PEN students become experts in at least one cutting-edge cognitive neuroscience method (e.g., fNIRS, EEG, fMRI), study neuroethics, gain strong critical analysis and reasoning skills in science, receive leadership training through the VL2 Student Network to become academic/professional leaders on the world stage, and develop their own research program under close mentorship from our faculty. The deadline is February 15, 2022. For more information: Visit our application requirements pageCheck out our announcementContact us at Contact here Ready to take the plunge, or know someone who is?
