Gallaudet University is the only college in the world designed with deaf and hard of hearing students in mind. Here, students enjoy:
“For the first time in my life, I feel as though I can focus exclusively on the academic content I’m learning. Not whether I’ll have interpreters, or whether my faculty member will be able to understand me, or whether I can take notes and still see the signer.

By sending your clients to Gallaudet, you’re delivering them a key that unlocks every door to the deaf community – an all-access pass to deaf leaders in business, technology, education, and public policy.
Gallaudet’s world-class reputation in deaf education has generated relationships with marquee employers across all industries. The Office of Career Services regularly engages and connects students with the following organizations:
Creating well-rounded, personally fulfilled, workforce-ready individuals requires a village. Elsewhere, most deaf or hard of hearing students have limited access to these essential supports outside the four walls of a classroom.

Gallaudet remains deeply grateful for the support our students receive from Vocational Rehabilitation agencies across the country. In addition to lower tuition and room and board, nearly every student on our campus receives scholarships and grants to reduce their net costs. Still, many deaf families require more financial assistance.
