Gino Gouby, CDI & CLIP-R, has worked professionally as a Deaf Interpreter for more than 15 years and has worked for Gallaudet University Interpreting Services (GIS) since 2008. At GIS, in addition to interpreting, he is also the GIS interim manager at Gallaudet. Before working at GIS, he has worked over five years as the Professional Development Manager within the VRS field. He has presented and interpreted on local, regional, national and international level. He received his Certified Deaf Interpreter certification in 2001 and his Specialist Certificate: Legal in 2016. In his spare time he enjoys reading books, building and collecting LEGOs, and visiting different countries.
