Five student filmmakers have been nominated to receive awards for their films at the WORLDEAF Cinema Festival (WDCF) taking place November 4 to 7 on the Gallaudet campus.

The films by students will be added to the 17 nominated films shown at the festival. Judges considered more than 170 film submissions, as well as 35 from student filmmakers, in the WDCF competition. The student finalists will be included in the daily film screenings that are open to the public. A complete schedule of the screenings and information about purchasing tickets online are available. Tickets may also be purchased at the Elstad Auditorium Box Office on the Gallaudet campus.

The nominated student films are divided into two categories: Student Short and Student Mini-15. Winners in each category will be announced at the WDCF Award Ceremony on Saturday evening, November 6.
