Gallaudet University is proud to host TEDxGallaudet* on Friday, February 28, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. TEDxGallaudet will feature up to four sessions, with five 15-minute presentations in each session, totaling 20 presentations.

TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) is a nonprofit organization devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x=independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.

TEDx Gallaudet proposals from individuals interested in presenting at this conference are due by Friday, November 15 at 5 p.m. If interested, please read the general procedures and policies information carefully as you consider submitting a proposal for consideration by the TEDxGallaudet committee.

*This independent TEDx event is operated under license from TED.
