The health insurance, long-term disability and life insurance plans in which an employee is enrolled will remain in effect while on leave. If the leave is unpaid, the employee is responsible for the employee share of all payroll deducted insurance premiums unless the insurance is canceled.

The Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP) will also remain in effect. You will receive a bill directly from BENEFEDS. It is your responsibility to make the direct payments until you return on the payroll.

Arrangements for payment of premiums should be made directly with the Payroll Team.
