COVID-19 | Gallaudet University

COVID-19 health and safety requirements for fall 2022

For all employees and Gallaudet University students, regardless of remote status or location*:

For all employees and Gallaudet University students physically on campus:

  1. Test for COVID-19 if you are symptomatic, an identified close contact, or you want peace of mind.
  2. Follow the current mask protocol.
  3. Self-monitor for any COVID-19 symptoms. Report any symptoms on the ServiceNow “Now Mobile” app from the Apple iOS or Google Play store (for initial setup, use the instance code:

*Remote non-matriculated students (e.g., ASL Connect students) are exempt from these requirements. However, if such students elect to come to campus, they must be in compliance with the University’s vaccination requirements.

*The flu vaccine is optional for the 2022-2023 academic year, but highly encouraged. As masks become more widely optional, it is likely we will see a surge in cases of influenza, common cold, and other common respiratory illnesses. The influenza vaccination will provide an additional layer of protection for you and the community.
